~As Silly As This May Sound~
As Silly as this may sound
The Stubbornness that runs in my veins
Is connected to the Country Girl
That has been fully dying to come out
Since I was a young child
Riding on my grandfather's tractor
Back on the old Country farm from Nevada
As Silly as this may sound
That same little girl who rode her
Grandfather's tractor on the old farm
May not have ever ridden a horse
Have I thought about it, heck yes…
But have I, just never have…
Will I someday soon…
As Silly As This May Sound
That little girl who rode the tractor
And helped out on the farm
When she went to spend time with her
Grandpa and Grandma, wants to come alive again.
As Silly As This May Sound
She wants to ride a horse
Feel the air in her hair
And just be able to relax in mother nature.
As Silly As This May Sound
I may not be a little girl any more
After all I have little ones myself
Who are in their younger years themselves.
As Silly as this may sound
Motherhood isn't all its cracked up to be
Sometimes it can be more heart-wrenching
Than what people give light on it as
As silly as this may sound
I love my children to pieces
But why God choose me 2
To be their Mother
And to be able to help them
Even with my oldest set backs from his disabilities.
As silly as this sounds I have no idea why…
As Silly As This Sounds
Privacy is something I do not take for granted
Nor will I ever… but that is a tale for another time…
As Silly As This Sound
I will always stand true to myself.
